The Barbarian guild is an evolved class (levels 15+) that can be reached only by Fighters.

Guild Location:North of Cal'ziz
Guildleader: Venoplasus Ter'ner'grenek

Venoplasus is a tall, roughly 8'4'' ogre, with large tusk-like overgrown canines jutting from his lower jaw. He covers himself in furs and has a huge sword strapped to his back.

Venoplasus' Speech: Thanks to Eirnin for the speech.

Venoplasus looks you up and down, assessing you.

Shaking his head and muttering that another one seeks an early grave, he turns to you and says "You're not much to look at, but I may be able to make a true Barbarian of you, or kill you in the attempt.."

Venoplasus nods and takes you out to the arena. There he calls over some rather imposing looking guild members. "Eirnin here wants to join our guild. Lets see what "she" is made of." With that, the Barbarians attack you. Beating them back as best you can, you soon make some headway, and even knock one out cold. Abruptly, Venoplasus calls a stop to the attack. Bloodied and bruised, but unbowed, you stand before him.

He nods, and without a word motions you to follow him back into the guild. Following behind him you wonder what next is in store for you.

Inside, Venoplasus turns to you and says, "You showed some skill today, even if it was a lucky shot that knocked out Grothmog. I see it will not be a waste of my time to teach you the combat skills you will need if you are to be a Barbarian."

Before you can protest the comment about the "lucky shot", Venoplasus continues, "A Barbarian is not merely a warrior with a weapon, but is a weapon. You must hone your skills and become one with your weapon, so that it does what you will, instinctively. You must also never give quarter, as none will be shown to you. Your combat skills and training are all you have to rely upon."

Venoplasus grumbles as he looks at you. "You are a fierce Barbarian now. You can use your brutality and skill at arms to CHARGE into battle and overwhelm your opponent."

Venoplasus says, "Go now, for you are accepted into this guild. Seek battle and glory."

Barbarian Clans (quoted from Eaxia official Forums March 1, 2004)

BloodJaw Clan

This clan is out in the Sal va'Taer Forest on the logging trail between Semanri and Tes'kata Village. The clan leader Andu trains members to withstand endurance trials and as such, all members gain a moderate bonus to their maximum health and a significant bonus to armor rating.

FrozenHeart Clan

Well-hidden near the base of Mount Lexunaze, this small clan is led by Drabola who trains her members to protect themselves first and strike next. As a result, members gain a moderate bonus to armor rating and a significant bonus to attack rating.

SteelBand Clan

Out in the desert trails of the Loup'Garou Desert south of Cal'Ziz, the SteelBand clan is another small group of members who are taught with simular respects to the teachings of clan leader Drabola. This clan's leader, Hallom, focuses primarily on combat power while keeping up one's guard. Members gain a moderate bonus to attack rating and a significant bonus to armor rating.

GoreHunger Clan

Probably the most feared clan, GoreHunger members are taught by the ferocious Wernvol, who instructs his members to be well-balanced and that only through mastering everything can you truly be powerful. GoreHunger has their camp based almost immediately outside the eastern entrance to the Crystal Caverns. Members gain significant bonuses to attack rating, armor rating, and maximum health.
