The Healer guild is an evolved class that may be reached only by those of level 15+ in the Cleric guild.

Weary but kind emerald eyes smile brightly, framed by errant wisps of fiery auburn hair, despite the stern look of determination on the human's face. Her plain white frock is quite clean, but the apron tied about her waist is anything but.

Yeenol LoveKeeper welcomes you with a soft voice, "I'm proud to accept you into our fine Healer's guild."

"We healers are experts in restoring life and repairing damage done to the physical body. Trained far beyond clerics, priests, and naturalists, none can compare with our abilities to quickly and efficiently eliminate pain and suffering."

"While our training typically centers around healing and curing ailments, we are not without protection, though our combat prowess is generally weak at best. An assortment of spells have been researched to lend protection and to relieve people and creatures of aggressive tendancies, if only for a short while. It is because of our intense training and studies on healing that we can no longer cast spells that inflict damage. It is a small sacrifice to Those We Worship in exchange for the divine power of healing."

Yeenol continues to explain in greater detail the gifts and abilities of Healers from practice to philosophy. After a long discussion and initial lectures, you are taught some beginner spells and instructed to bring peace, comfort, and healing to those you encounter.

Healer Spells

Spell Name Description
Pacifism Level 2 - Magically calms the target creature / NPC, causing it to avoid combat. The creature may resist the spell and the effects don't last for long.
Endurance Level 2 - Doubles the rate that I regain fatigue and health
Protective Aura [pa] Level 2 - All resistences are granted a moderate bonus
Make Peace [mp] Level 3 - Magically calms the target creature / NPC, causing it to avoid combat. The creature may resist the spell, though it is somewhat hard to do so. The effects last for a decent length of time.
Return To Sanctuary [rts] Level 3 - Through a lengthy spell preparation, casting this spell returns one to the sanctuary of the healer guild in Semanri.
Death Struggle [ds] Level 4 - Like Death Watch, but it constantly feeds health into any in need around the healer, providing the healer has enough health to spare. See Death Watch spell.
Restoration Level 4 - A strong healing spell that can heal any injury a body may sustain, no matter how severe.
Physical Barrier [pb] Level 4 - Provides an aura of shielding, increasing the armor rating slightly.
Regenerative Aura [ra] Level 4 - This spell causes a target to constantly regain health at a fast rate. It can alternately be cast at a target's area, providing physical body repair to that area over and over until it has healed or the spell wears off. This spell can be cast multiple times on a person, making it extremely useful in dangerous situations.
Truce Level 5 - Magically calms all creatures / NPCs in the immediate area, causing them to avoid combat. The creatures may resist the spell, though it is somewhat hard to do so. The effects last for a decent length of time.
Cure Disease [cd] Level 5 - Instantly cures all diseases from the target immediately.
Health Barrier [hb] Level 5 - Like Death Struggle, but it constantly feeds the healer's health into any in need in no matter how distant people may be from him/her, providing the healer has enough health to spare. The health drained from the healer is tripled at the cost of this extreme range. See Death Struggle spell.
Greater Restoration [gr] Level 5 - A strong healing spell that can heal any injury a body may sustain, no matter how severe. The effects are three times as great as Restoration.
