Here is an example of what you might see:

        It is currently night time.
The moon shines brightly above a cloudless sky.
Today is Nererin, the 5th day of Marius, in the season of Ganayman (Summer).
It is 2514 years after the Great Sundering.
In short, the date is 2514:4:5 and it is the 18th hour of the day.

Further details about the Eaxian calendar are found by typing TIME DETAILS.

Time passes here in a ratio of three-to-one (3:1), which means that whenever a         real minute has passed, three have passed in Eaxia.

The Eaxian calendar has nine months per year, each of which have exactly forty         days. The month names are: Konlus, Prasre, Alawre, Marius, Oranre, Morus,         Galadre, Drackre, and Zakdelre.

There are nine days per week, which does not break evenly across a single         month. The weekday names are: Penerin, Kosmerin, Marein, Tetherin, Vanerin,         Lyrein, Alererin, Nererin, and Ganerin.

Each day is exactly twenty hours long.

There are four seasons in Eaxia and Summer is the longest (three months, the         rest are two months long). They are arranged like this: Spring covers Konlus and         Prasre, Summer covers Alawre, Marius, and Oranre, Autumn covers Morus and         Galadre, and Winter covers Drackre and Zakdelre.
